TM has taken significant measures to support its Unifi customers affected by the recent fire incident in Putra Heights, caused by a gas pipeline leak. The company is offering a minimum of one month of bill waivers and extending credit terms to ease financial burdens during this crisis.
Alongside financial relief, TM is providing free replacements for Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) such as routers, modems, and mesh devices. The company is also offering priority customer support, including fast-track service via its helpline, free on-site technical assistance, and standard internal wiring to affected customers.
In a major shift, Meta will be discontinuing its US fact-checking program across Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. Instead, it will introduce Community Notes, allowing users to contribute and rate notes that provide additional context to posts, thus promoting community engagement over traditional fact-checking.
Microsoft has expanded its Copilot Vision feature to both Windows and mobile devices, enhancing real-time assistance for users. Initially limited to web applications, this evolution allows the AI to analyze live video, helping users with practical tasks like home decoration or plant care through the Copilot app.
As the excitement builds, Microsoft also announces significant updates to the Copilot app, which will soon include features like memory, personalization, and web-based actions, vastly enhancing user experience. The new updates are currently being tested with Windows Insiders, leading towards a broader rollout in the near future.
