Meta, formerly known as Facebook, is teaming up with the US government to deploy its Llama AI technology in various departments. CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed this collaboration during a recent earnings call, emphasizing partnerships with the State Department and the Department of Education. The Llama AI is designed to tackle issues such as enhancing resource accessibility and simplifying financial aid processes. In a bid to bolster electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, Gentari has introduced a 240kW DC charger at the Petronas KLIA 2, repurposing a former NGV refueling area. This new charging hub, part of Gentari’s initiative to expand EV infrastructure ahead of the Deepavali festive season, offers a dynamic charging capacity distributed across four bays. Priced at RM1.50 per kWh, with discounts available for Gentari Go members, the charger enhances convenience for EV drivers at the airport.

Google is extending its AI-powered weather app to older Pixel devices, including the Pixel 6 and newer models. Previously exclusive to the Pixel 9, the app provides a concise summary of outdoor conditions and enables users to monitor weather in multiple locations. While the app has garnered mixed reviews, it presents a fresh option for individuals in search of a dependable weather application following the discontinuation of the Dark Sky app.
