Harmony Auto has inaugurated its first BYD service center in Malaysia, located within the Hartamas Shopping Centre. This 3,230 square feet facility offers sales, service, and spare parts for BYD vehicles. The showroom is currently operational, with the service and spare parts section expected to be ready by Q4 2024. Additionally, a 150kW Kempower DC fast charger with three charging nozzles has been installed outside the outlet, available to the public regardless of vehicle brand.

Hackers are demanding higher ransoms, with some refusing to negotiate and insisting on extraordinary sums. The average ransom payment in Q1 of the year was $381,980. Hackers are also targeting critical systems in supply chains and harassing researchers with AI-generated fake content and spoofed calls.
Indonesia’s national data center, Pusat Data Nasional (PDN), operated by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, suffered a ransomware attack impacting 210 databases of government agencies and public services. The attackers demanded an $8 million ransom, which the Indonesian government has refused to pay. The attack caused disruptions in immigration services and other public services. In response, some data has been relocated to Amazon Web Service to restore services. The PDN in Surabaya is believed to be affected by the ransomware attack.
