Grok, the AI chatbot service on X, is now available for free to all users, removing the previous requirement of a paid X Premium subscription. Free users can send up to 10 messages every two hours and perform a limited number of image analyses daily. xAI, the company behind Grok, recently raised $6 billion in equity financing, though details about its total funding have not been disclosed.
Reports suggest that Microsoft is planning a significant refresh of its Surface lineup in 2025, including new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop models powered by Intel’s Lunar Lake chips. These devices will feature AI capabilities similar to existing models. Additionally, a new hybrid device with an 11-inch display is expected. Microsoft has also confirmed the discontinuation of the Surface Studio 2 Plus, indicating no immediate successor.
