Ookla has named CelcomDigi as Malaysia’s best telco for mobile coverage for Q1-Q2 2024, achieving a Coverage Score of 30.73% based on extensive user data. Maxis and Unifi Mobile followed in second and third place, respectively. CelcomDigi’s CEO emphasized their commitment to enhancing network quality and performance, claiming to have the widest 4G network in Malaysia, covering 97% of populated areas.

Nissan is set to launch its e-Power hybrid technology in Malaysia by Q4 2024. Unlike traditional hybrids, Nissan’s e-Power system uses a petrol engine solely to generate electricity for an electric motor that powers the wheels, without the ability to charge externally.
