Change Healthcare, a major US healthcare technology company, confirmed a cyberattack causing a network interruption. The company disconnected its systems to protect partners and patients, expecting disruptions to last at least a day. The attack began early Tuesday morning on the US East Coast. Local pharmacies and healthcare providers in Michigan reported outages, affecting prescription processing through insurance. China Mobile has launched a satellite to test 6G technology in space, aiming for a terrestrial network by 2030. The satellite, developed with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is in low-Earth orbit to ensure fast data transfer and low latency. 6G promises speeds up to 1 TB per second and near-zero latency, enhancing the Internet of Things by connecting numerous devices within a given radius.

A study in the USA suggests that transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs) could significantly improve children’s health by reducing asthma attacks and preventing infant deaths. The American Lung Association estimates that nearly 2.8 million pediatric asthma attacks could be avoided by 2050 with reduced air pollution from EVs. The transition could also reduce upper and lower respiratory symptoms, acute bronchitis cases, and infant mortality, while decreasing noise pollution and enhancing road safety with advanced vehicle technologies.
