Xiaomi has launched the Pad 7S Pro in China, its first tablet to feature the innovative XRing O1 chipset, also used in the Xiaomi 15S Pro. This new device boasts impressive specifications, including a 12.5” display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Dolby Atmos-supported speakers.
The Pad 7S Pro measures just 5.8mm thick and weighs 576g. It houses a powerful 10,610mAh battery that supports rapid charging at 120W via USB-C. Notably, the tablet allows for reverse charging, providing 7.5W power to other devices, boosting its versatility.
In addition to the robust hardware, the Pad 7S Pro runs on HyperOS 2, layered on Android 15, and comes with PC-level WPS software. For photography enthusiasts, it features a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera, making it suitable for various imaging tasks.
For connectivity, the Pad 7S Pro supports screen mirroring with PCs, allowing a seamless workflow between devices. Users can control both the tablet and a Windows or Mac PC using the same keyboard and mouse, reinforcing its potential as a laptop alternative.
