Google Workspace users will soon experience automatic AI-generated summaries for lengthy email threads in Gmail. This new feature will display concise summaries above relevant emails without requiring any manual activation, aiming to keep users informed of ongoing discussions effortlessly.

In tandem with this development, Meta has partnered with Anduril Industries to create advanced mixed reality technologies aimed at enhancing battlefield operations. The collaboration will incorporate augmented reality and AI into devices designed for military personnel, enhancing their ability to control autonomous systems during missions.

On the hardware front, Thunder Match Technology (TMT) is promoting discounts of up to RM1,000 on laptops using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Series processor until June 30, 2025. These laptops, known for their long battery life and on-device AI capabilities, come from various prominent brands and include advanced features powered by their integrated NPU.

The Snapdragon X Series processors are designed for superior performance and efficiency, appealing especially to users who prioritize mobility and battery longevity in their computing devices. This promotion follows a successful Qualcomm fan event, where attendees engaged with former footballer Nani and were introduced to the new Snapdragon-powered laptops.

As technology companies continue to push boundaries, Meta’s partnership with Anduril reflects a growing trend of integrating cutting-edge tech into military applications. Meanwhile, Gmail’s deployment of AI summarizations marks a shift towards more intuitive email management, improving user experience in communication.
